Some Responses from Project Members

 Maruchi expressed his original idea on our study project for the above expectant collaborators through which some positive and informative reactions were sent to him as shown in the below;

1.From Dr.Jaafar (Malaysia)
 I would like to express our interest to work with you and collaborate in this study on holistic approach to health management and health culture. Indeed the subject is an emerging concept in the midst of the current rapid bio-technological advances in health care systems and the increasingly impersonal nature of the doctor-patient relationship . As you know Dr Azim is very interested in the topic of risk management and have attended a conference in Japan on the topic recently and I am very much into the humanities and sociology of health and health seeking behaviors. 2.Dr.Khanitta (Thailand)
  I have read details of the grant announcement and found it is very interesting and actually fit with what we have been doing before. I could see how you think section 4 is guiding section 2.
  I am still interested in community health and welfare and the "how to" that local community (civil society) could be strengthened through holistic approach.The process could be the learning together among Asian countries on how local community, through their human nature, face with western science and technology for better quality of life. We could propose the collaborative program in strengthening community health and welfare across the Asian countries through:
a) Research studies of how local community, through their human nature, face with western science and technology for better quality of life which build up local community health and welfare system. The research activities could be exploring good practice and good models in each participating country.
b) Asian seminars and conferences will bring all such good practice and good models, from research in 1, together and share. Our team will have to synthesize all those research findings into issues papers for publications of all the "how to" found in such research. The collaboration will work as the clearing house of all methods and guidelines for best practice in community health and welfare.
c) Trainings are then followed. We could operate training sessions across Asian countries for capacity building in strengthening community health and welfare. I will think more about the activities. I think the society needs more effective human technology to lead people's living.
 Again, I am very pleased to work collaboratively with all of us and looking forward to. Khanitta
